How to Make Videos with Suno Music in CapCut

Use Suno music in CapCut for short videos, background tracks, and lyric videos. Follow desktop and mobile import steps, then edit the audio to fit your project.

Use Suno music in CapCut to score a vlog, cut a chorus into a short video, or turn a full song into a lyric video. Download the track as an MP3, add it to your project, then follow the editing approach that fits what you’re making.

Download Your Suno Song

Download your Suno song as an MP3, or use a WAV file you already have.

Unzip any downloaded archive before importing the audio. On mobile, save your Suno song on iPhone or Android before opening CapCut’s audio picker.

For ads, client projects, or monetized videos, check Suno’s commercial-use guidance for the song you plan to use.

Import Suno Music into CapCut

On Windows or Mac

  1. Start a new project in CapCut and click Import.
  2. Select your video clips or cover image, along with the downloaded Suno audio file.
  3. Drag the video or image onto the main timeline, then drag the song onto an audio track below it.

For an existing edit, open the project and import the song into it.

On iPhone or Android

  1. Tap New project, select your video or cover image, and tap Add.
  2. Tap Add audio → Sounds.
  3. Tap the folder icon, choose Device, then tap Select from device.
  4. Choose your downloaded Suno file and add it to the timeline.

Menu labels vary by app version; look for the device or local-file option in the audio picker.

Turn a Suno Chorus into a Short Video

For a TikTok, Reel, or YouTube Short, choose a chorus or lyric that stands on its own. Trim the song to that section and arrange your visuals around it, with a clear beginning and ending.

Use Suno Music as Background Audio

For a vlog, tutorial, or product demo, trim the Suno track to fit the scene. Keep the music lower during dialogue or voiceover, and add fades where it starts or ends.

Make a Suno Lyric Video in CapCut

A cover image or simple background is enough for a lyric video. Pair it with the song and add the lyrics in short, readable lines, adjusting each line’s timing to match the vocals.

Export Your CapCut Video

Click or tap Export. On desktop, choose MP4, set the save location, resolution, and frame rate, then export the video. On mobile, review the video settings and export it to your device.
