How to Share Suno Songs with Friends Who Don’t Use Suno

Download Suno songs as MP3 or MP4 and share them with friends through WhatsApp, email, or chat—without asking them to install Suno.

You’ve made a Suno song for a friend, but sharing the link can turn a simple listen into extra steps. Friends who don’t use Suno may run into app-install prompts, sign-in screens, or interrupted playback when all they want is to hear your song.

Download an MP3 or MP4 with SunoDown

SunoDown lets you download supported public Suno songs as MP3 audio or MP4 video, where available. Send the file through an app your friends already use:

  • MP3 audio: Send a birthday song, a personal gift, or a track you want feedback on through WhatsApp, email, or another app that accepts audio files.
  • MP4 video: Share the available video version in a chat or social post.

Download Your Suno Song

  1. Copy the song link and open SunoDown.
  2. Paste the link into Song links and select Get downloads.
  3. Choose Download MP3 or Download MP4.
  4. Open the saved file to check that it plays.

Formats depend on the song; private or restricted links may not be supported.

Send the Downloaded File

Send the MP3 as an audio file, or attach the MP4 as a video. Use the app you and your friend already use:

  • iPhone: Find the file in Files, touch and hold it, then tap Share and choose a supported app.
  • Android: Find the file in your file manager or Downloads folder, select Share, and choose the app.
  • Computer: Open the chat or email and attach the saved file.

In WhatsApp, use Audio, where available, or Document for an MP3, or the video attachment option for an MP4. Menu labels vary by device and app version.

Give the file a recognizable name, such as Birthday-Song-for-Maya.mp3. If you want to add photos or lyrics to your song before sending it, follow our Suno music in CapCut guide.

Trouble Sending or Playing the File?

Can’t find the file? Check your browser’s download history and the location shown there. Playing a song in Suno does not mean a copy has been saved to your device.

The attachment won’t send? Check the app’s supported formats and file-size limit. If you use a cloud-storage link instead, make sure your friend has permission to open it.

Your friend can’t play it? Ask them to open it in a compatible player. If your own copy also fails, see our Suno download troubleshooting guide.
